COZYPALOOZA
Four years. One stage. One giant beer tent. One incredible music community.
Inspired by the spirit of the legendary music festival Lollapalooza, Cozypalooza was built on a simple idea: great music belongs to everyone. We may not have national touring acts, but we've got something just as important... talented local musicians, loyal fans, and a community that shows up to support them.
Every summer, The Cozy transforms into one of Livingston County's biggest backyard parties. Our 60-foot Corrigan flatbed becomes the stage. Our massive 40' × 80' beer tent turns into the heart of the festival, complete with a full liquor bar, cold beer, great food, and hundreds of music lovers. Outside you'll find bonfires, cornhole, a packed grass lot with parking attendants keeping everything running smoothly, and a crowd that comes for the music and stays for the atmosphere.
Lollapalooza, which originated in the '90s, taught us that music didn't have to fit neatly into one genre, and neither does Cozypalooza. Country, rock, metal, alternative, punk, acoustic, Americana... if it's good music, it belongs on our stage. Every band that plays becomes part of the same community that has supported The Cozy for generations.
We're proud that Cozypalooza has grown from an idea into an annual tradition. What started as a way to showcase local talent has become one of our favorite weekends of the year, bringing together musicians, friends, families, and neighbors from all over Livingston County and beyond.
The headliners may change every year, but the mission never does: support local music, celebrate community, and create the kind of summer memories that keep people coming back year after year.
Our 4th Annual Cozypalooza was on June 20th this year. Check out pictures and videos from this year below. We'll see you next June.
